The second face2face consortium meeting of the I-MECH project was hosted by consortium member Gefran (Saronno, Italy) on November 14th and 15th. More than 50 particpants met for two days to boost the project technical progress.
The first day started with a presentation of the overview of currently running tasks and work packages. The day continued with a session focusing on the I-MECH reference platform specification. Key decisions were made in order to reach the first project milestone successfully. The first day was wrapped up by an inspiring excursion to the Gefran production facilities. A splendid social event in Milan center created space to continue both technical and non-technical discussion in the evening and even resulted in exploration of new ideas going beyond the scope of the I-MECH project.
The second day focussed on I-MECH pilot applications. The discussion was divided into parallel sessions driven by individual pilots. The sessions resulted in improved specification of pilot requirements and linking of pilot requirements to I-MECH building blocks and tasks within the project.
